Fentons Information Technologies (FIT), the ICT arm of Hayleys Fentons, was named Sustainable Cybersecurity Provider of the Year at the Sri Lankan Sustainability Awards 2026, held at the Hilton Colombo. The award recognises FIT’s contribution towards building secure, resilient, and future-ready digital environments that enable organisations to advance their digital transformation while protecting critical systems and information.
The recognition affirms FIT’s position as one of Sri Lanka’s leading cyber resilience partners, built on a framework that combines secure infrastructure, responsible governance, continuous innovation, and operational resilience. Unlike providers that focus solely on deploying technology, FIT embeds security across the full lifecycle of an organisation’s digital environment spanning enterprise networks, cloud platforms, operational technology environments, and critical national infrastructure.
This approach is reflected in some of the country’s most significant cybersecurity deployments, including Sri Lanka’s largest Secure SD-WAN deployment, connecting over 940 People’s Bank branches, and a Zero Trust Network Architecture securing nearly 100 Ceylon Electricity Board grid substations nationwide.
At the core of this work is FIT’s Sustainable Cyber Resilience Framework, which brings together governance, compliance, vulnerability management, AI-powered threat detection, advanced VAPT, Security Operations Centre (SOC) monitoring, incident response, and disaster recovery. Through round-the-clock monitoring, continuous assessments, and ongoing security optimisation, the framework is designed to deliver long-term protection rather than short-term remediation helping organisations manage cyber risk proactively while maintaining business continuity.
